Our Patron Saint is St. Maria Goretti. She is a powerful intercessor for our times. Our Lord is working through this little saint to bring about great healing from sexual abuse, great hope for each of us when we fall, and great courage to lovingly name sin and defend purity in every age and state of life. Her story exemplifies the importance of the healing power of forgiveness to remove the obstacles of false shame due to sexual sin and highlights the power of purity to embolden us to love Our Lord with courage.

Community Events
RetreatsHalf day program where parents and their children can spend time together learning about chastity. Parents are taught how to teach their children about this most important virtue. Retreats are normally offered for either middle school OR high school aged children and their parents (or other significant adult.)

Are you a trained Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister? Do you altar serve? Lector? Would you like to join the choir? Do you like to plan and organize events? Join the Goretti Mass Team to help put on the monthly Goretti Mass where we honor our patroness and pray for the healing of society. Goretti Masses take place in each of our chapters: San Diego, San Jose and Staten Island.
Fundraising Committee
Do you love planning events? Are you a people person? Do you like to write? Would you like to speak after Masses to promote The Goretti Group? Do you have fundraising experience or your own ideas about how to raise money?
We need you on our Fundraising Committee! Using your unique talents, you can help The Goretti Group by reaching out to donors, planning fundraising events, writing grants and donor appeal letters, or helping with parish appeals.
Marketing Committee
Do you know graphic design? Are you a social media guru? Do you have marketing/communications experience? Are you a photographer or videographer? If you answered yes to any of the above, please share your gifts with The Goretti Group and help us to reach even more hearts with the truth of God’s pure love for us by designing brochures, t-shirts or graphics, developing website content, promoting chastity via social media, or reaching out through other media to the local community.
